63.0. "PCFN on Prodigy" by CAMONE::ZIOMEK (Pump up the TEST) Fri Feb 14 1992 14:51

Does anyone use the PCFN discount broker service on Prodigy?
I am considering it and would like to hear any pro's/con's, opinions
    etc.

    Thanks,
    John

Yes, I use it and have for the past year and half. I have been very
satisfied with it.

I've also used it for 2 trades so far since last november. It's not
the absolute cheapest discount brokerage, but it is convenient to get
quotes and (limited) company news on the same service. I used to use
Fidelity 'Investor's Express' under DJNS, but DJNS is $$$$$ in connect
time, and Fidelity charges $12/mo user fee.
BTW, do you follow the 'money talk' BBS over there? Pretty wild
    stuff, eh??

I am considering an "on-line" service for easy access for trades
and quotes on a variety of OTC stocks that don't show up im my newspaper.

I am looking at "The Equalizer" from Charles Schawb and a similar
service from Quick & Reilly. Does anyone have experience with these
services. I will also explore the Prodigy service; I don't need a lot
of services other than quotes and buy/sell orders.

    Thanks

If you request the startup kit from PCFN, you will get a page
that compares the costs of the Schwab kit and others. PCFN by far
is the best online service for the Money. Prodigy also offers another
service called Strategic Investor. I am not a member of this yet, but
am considering it. It costs 14.95 a month extra. Supposedly you get
unlimited company reports, analysis, etc. But anyways I would highly
    recommend PCFN.
