332.0. "How many differents bands ??" by ATYISA::POITEVIN () Fri Feb 14 1997 07:55

    	I don't understand wery well all the different bandwidth variant
    	about FH and DS in 2.4 Ghz.
    	Is there some informations about this, how is divided the total
    	bandwidth FCC vs ETSI (band A,B ...), etc ..
    	and the country corresponding.

    	Thanks,

    	Thierry.

332.1FH and DS frequency bands.IROCZ::SCHWARTZFri Feb 28 1997 02:4523
    Hi,

    The FH jumps from one frequency to the next every 200ms. It uses a
    1MHz wide transmission band. The FCC band is from 2.402 to 2.479GHz.
    The ETSI is smaller and the French version is even smaller. Offhand, I
    don't remember, but you can see what these bands are on our internal
    WWW site.

    The DS uses a 22MHz wide transmission band all the time. There are
    multiple center frequencies that you can choose. The FCC and ETSI
    variants default at 2.422GHz. The FCC varaint has a center frequency
    that ranges from 2.412GHz to 2.462GHz where the ETSI varaint varies
    from 2.422 to 2.462GHz. The France variant is defaulted at 2.462GHz.

    I am not sure if I answered your question!

Regards,
Jeff
