    Is this product still available?  It's on the March 1997 Alpha Layered
    product cd's, but the order number ql-352* does not find a match in the
    price lookup.

    Terminal Server Manager (TSM) is retired as of April 7. 
    
    Part numbers are:
    
       Q*-352A*-**    TSM for VMS/Alpha 
       Q*-VDHA*-**    TSM for VMS/VAX 
    
    (This part number is still orderable. this is a mistake, it should be
    not orderable. This is being corrected.)
    
    The replacement is clearVISN Access Server Manager. This product
    manages DECservers that run DECserver Network Access Software (DNAS).
    These are the DECserver 90M, 900TM, 900GM, 900MC and 700 running DNAS.
    It is included in the box with these DECservers. It is also part of the
    DNAS kit QA-0LWAJ-H8. It is not part of the clearVISN hub management
    kit.  
    
    clearVISN Access Server Manager will also manage older DECservers that
    support TELNET. This is with the DECserver console command line
    interface that can be launched via TELNET Remote Console. This group
    includes DECserver 300 with minimum version 2.1 of DECserver 300
    software, DECserver 90TL, and DECserver 700 running DECserver 700
    software.
    
    All of the LAT only DECservers can NOT be managed with clearVISN Access
    Server Manager. LAT only DECservers include DECserver 90L, 90L+, 100,
    200, 250, 500, 550 and the DECserver 300 running a version less than
    V2.1 of DECserver 300 software.

    I have difficulty reconciling the statement "TSM is retired" with the
    fact that on the externally visible year 2000 ready software web page
    TSM is shown as status Yellow, which means the product is not year 2000
    ready, but plans are in preparation. 
    
    Can someone explain how something can be retired, yet work is being
    done or planned?
    
    This is a serious question, because customers (and me) assume that
    Yellow means that there definitely will be a year 2000 ready version.
