| Don't know if any more are comming out but I loved the series. The characters
actually had depth and weren't just "good" or "evil". I really appreciate an
author that goes beyond the fantasy gimmicks and gives us people. Though she
has some pretty nice fantasy gimmicks too.
For those who are interested, this takes place in a desert kingdom on a world
where dragons live. The Desert Prince knows a secrect about the dragons that
gives him an edge in the double dealing politics of the relmn. Some of the
people have magical talents and certain others are trying to breed for it by
arranging matches and mixing the royal and magical lines to produce a prince
that has both. This will of course wreak havoc in the politcal balance. Every-
body is scheming, including our heros. And the dragons are in danger of
becomming extinct. And all sorts of folks are falling in love, with the right
people, the wrong people and with too many people. And some folks have too
many babies and others none at all, which threatens to tear apart the already
shaky balance of power. It's a good read. liesl

| The current group of books is a trilogy, though only the first book
has been released. (This follows on the heels of the first trilogy,
which started with DRAGON PRINCE.)
Book two is due out in early 1992. I'll check my information tonight
and see if I can tell you the title and month the DAW hardcover is
to be released.

Hello,
She has started the second trilogy of the same series. The new
trilogy's name is DRAGON STAR . Book 1 STRONGHOLD is now out if
paperback and Book2 THE DRAGON TOKEN is due out in February 1992 in
paperback.

Sorry, but THE DRAGON TOKEN is a hardcover release. Don't expect to see
it in paperback before early 1993.

Terry, I haven't seen the actual hardcover, but I have seen ads for the
book that clearly state that it is a February 1992 hardcover from DAW books.

| I found this series in Cambridge before finding this note, and am glad
that others have found them too! I am really enjoying them -- just
finished Dragon Prince and am about to start the second book of the
first trilogy.
Glad to hear that the 5th volume is coming out soon -- these books are
so wonderfully long it may be a while before I finish the other three I
have!
Wish I had SunRunner powers...

| I can't remember all the names. The Dragon Prince is the first and I think
Sun Runner's Fire is the last of the first trilogy. I'll try to remember to look
in the bookshelf this weekend. liesl

| I've read all 5 books in exiestence so far and the next book seems
forever in coming!! I had planned to buy Dragon Token in paperback,
but when I saw the hardcover, and read the jacket...well, just say when
I woke up I found myself on the sidewalk with a new, $25 book in
hand!:-)

Question 1-Maybe I just didn't read closely enough, but how exactly did
Rohan die? Heart attack? How did I miss it?
Read the next if you have read through the Dragon Token!!
Question 2-What do you think Pol will do? Does Sionell really hate
him? Will he leave meiglan?

watching the battle. There were a few other hints as well. liesl
