509.0. "SFBC phone number needed" by CSC32::J_PARSONS () Tue Jul 28 1987 21:41

    I need the phone number for the Science Fiction Book Club's Customer
    Service Department, if they have such a thing. After years of flawless
    service they've screwed up an order I made in a big way.

        I had to call it myself today. It took about 15 to 25 rings
    before I got an answer, but once it was answered the problem was
    cleared up in less than a minute.

    I, too, found the help line to be very friendly and helpful (although
    it took a while to get through.)

    I share your feelings about the SFBC. They consistently impress
    me with their selection and their low prices. I'm always joining
    other clubs and regretting it almost immediately, but not this one.
