Announcing a NOTESfile for original creative works, 2LITTL""::SYS$NOTES:PROSE.NOT our own writing workshop of the network. I'm announcing it here because so far, there is a certain Science-fictitious bent to several of the entries. My favorite (so far) is The Ozzie and Harriet by Fred Bals (Note 7). The way it works, is the story or article is entered (either as note .0, or with a preface followed by the writing in the first replies, or with writing, prefaces and comments scattered as they fall (That's my style :-). Note 1 is for discussion of how the file works. All are welcome to participate, either by submitting work, commenting on work, or (best of all) both. Ed

is long gone from PROSE, and I'm no longer involved with that
conference.

There's been a number of changes with PROSE. The old conference
has been archived and a new version started on HSSWS1::PROSE.
If you already have the conference in your Notebook, you can use
the command:
mod ent PROSE/file=HSSWS1::PROSE
to reflect the new location. Or, use your SELECT or KP7 key while
in this note to add the conference to your Notebook.
Fred Bals {HYSTER,FOOZLE::BALS} and Greg Davis (HSSWS1::GREG) are
now the co-moderators of PROSE. Greg also acts as system host for
the conference. Questions or problems concerning the conference
should be directed *by e-mail* to either of them.

It's been pointed out to me that you should also reset your
SEEN map (since the conference is new rather than moved) when you
access the new PROSE, or -- probably preferable -- simply delete
your Notebook entry for the old conference and then add the new
conference rather than to use the "modify entry" command I advised
in .1. The bottom line is if you have questions or problems, contact
either of the moderators noted in .1
