2204.0. "Resources required for Project" by WOTVAX::DAVIESG (I had too much to dream last night) Tue Feb 04 1997 13:24

    Hello,

I'm a technical consultant for NSIS, working out of Warrington and I
have a problem identifying NetView resouces, any help greatly
    appreciated.

I am currently working as lead consultant and by default project
manager for a systems and network enterprise management installation
for a customer in Glasgow, Scotland UK.

I have an urgent requirement for NetView on Unix resources to deliver 1
weeks of consultancy at the customer site. I would want to deliver this
work in March 1997 (any week apart from that commencing Monday 10th).

So far I have drawn a complete blank on getting any available NetView
resource through the usual chanels! If anyone is interested or knows
someone who might be able to help, either post a reply in here or
contact me directly on wotvax::daviesg. My DTN is 851 1629.

I have already specified the work required and would expect to be on
site myself the week of the NetView delivery to integrate it with the
other Polycenter tools and third party products being rolled out to
this site (I will be using OSCint for this). The work is to make sure
that auto discovery (the product is already installed and running) has
discovered all the network the customer wants to manage, configure the
netmon.seed file and then present NetView events for new devices
comming on line in an obvious fashion (like with the NT version of the
product). The rest of the week would be spent working with the customer
to show them how they could further utilise the tool (hence the need
for someone who has worked with this in a real Unix environment).

    Thanks in advance

    Guy
