625.0. "Hat Reshaping/Cleaning" by IMPULS::HARTEL () Wed Jul 26 1989 21:33

    Does anybody out there know of a tack shop (in the Massachusetts
    area) that re-shapes/cleans cowboy hats? Just took my black one
    out of it's box, and for some reason it had a weird "dent" in it.
    If anybody has a home remedy for this problem, that would help,
    too.  Thanks!

    What about some of the tack shops? Those that carry western apparel
    might do it. I can't remember where I had mine done but it was omewhere
    out near Amherst, MA; but that was a few years ago...

    good luck!

    COUNTRYSIDE FARM in Sterling does it...508-422-6258. She is presently
    at the Morgan Show in Northampton.
    I know there are others...check with some of the tack shops that
    sell Western hats as the previous noter suggested.

    Good Luck

625.3Oops, it should read Saddle Shed not Saddle ShopTURKEY::SCHLENERThu Jul 27 1989 16:495
    Try the Saddle Shop in Grafton (Rt. 122, south of the Rt. 140,Rt. 122
    intersection).
    1/3 of their shop is western tack/clothing.
