| Its a late reply but the interest was there for myself anyway, maybe
others as well.
I was out at REI in Reading Ma. yesterday and got some information on
bile clinics they will be running this spring. They're free and run
in the evening on three consecutive wednesdays in April.
Wednesday, April 15
Bike Technician Series #1- Headset & Bottom Bracket Systems
The first in REI's Bike Technician series is taught by REI
Master Technician, Rick Horsman. The clinic covers how to
remove, clean, inspect, install and trouble-shoot both headsets
and bottom brackets.
Wednesday, April 22
Bike Technician Series #2- Brake & Derailleur Systems
Geared toward adjustment and installation of brake and derailleur
systems.
Wednesday, April 29
Bike Technician Series #3- Wheels, Hubs & Tires
Clinic covers replacing spokes, wheel theory, hub adjustments,
tire installation and selection.
Also on Thursday, April 9, "On The Road" Bicycle Repairs
Tech teaches basic bike repairs for cyclists who find themselves
in need of on the road adjustments. Covers fixing flat tires,
replacing spokes, adjusting bottom brackets and headsets, replacing
chain links, adjusting and replacing gear and brake cables.
Clinics start at 7:00 pm and are open to the public.
