515.0. "Mountain bike accessories help" by BAXTA::SYLVIA_KRIST () Wed Jan 06 1988 17:19

    I just received a Diamond Back Ascent for Christmas and need some
    advice. I am going to start doing some serious biking with it in
    the spring, but am not too familiar with the type of gear I will
    need for this type of biking. I live in Maine and plan on doing
    most of my riding on dirt roads in the mountains as well as some
    street riding. I plan on riding about 3 times a week. I have
    heard that I definately should have a helmet...but what else would
    be useful??

    I would appreciate any help including what brands to look for...

    Thank you,

    Kristen
