2022.0. "NH Lung Assoc Ride" by HARDY::ROCHE () Mon Jul 29 1991 11:27

        Hi there!

I am participating in the Fall Bike Trek (Sept 20-22)
to benefit the NH Lung Association. This Fall's ride
    	has a 2 day or a 3 day option. Each day's mileage
is around 50-60 miles. The scenery is truly
beautiful since it's up North in the White Mountain
    	National Forest area.

I have participated in 3 of these rides thus far and
have decided to help the Lung Association out by
doing some publicizing. I have pamphlets which include
registration forms and I'd be glad to answer any
questions anyone might have on the ride.

If you'd like more information, or would like to help
the cause by sponsoring, please visit or contact me:

I am also going on this trek, I will however only be doing the
two day trip. It really sounds like a lot of fun.

Is anyone going to the pre-trek meeting in august?

Also will they be putting three people in a room on saturday night?

    Hi !

There is also a Lung Association sponsored ride in Massachusetts.
It is a 2 day event and the ride is from Sandwich to Provincetown.
I did it last year and the scenery was great and the ride refreshing.
I forget which weekend in September, but I will post it if anyone
    would like more information....

    Hi Dave,

I haven't been to a pre-trek meeting since the first time
I did the ride. They give some info on what to bring, what
to expect, etc, so if it's the first time you've done a ride
like this, the meeting is worth attending. Otherwise, you can
get all the supplemental info once you send in your registration.

Accomodations: Last spring the room capacities varied based
upon how many people sign up. They don't usually know for sure
what the final count will be until very close to the trek.
They were talking about putting 4 people in a room with two
double beds, but this didn't end up happening on the Spring Trek.

Glad you're joining the ride! I'm sure you will enjoy it!
