1475.0. "An emerging industry standard?" by WLDWST::POLLARD () Mon Apr 02 1990 20:18

    	This weekend, I was told that Regina America and Suntour New
    Winner freewheels work with Shimano SIS. The spacing is alledged
    to be identical. If true, it seems like a great way to avoid $50
    7-speed Dura-Ace freewheels. Have any of you noters tried this?
    Does it work? It sounds too logical to be true.

I've used a Suntour Winner (Pro?) 7-speed with Ultegra for 2 seasons with no
problems in SIS mode. It worked better in SIS mode with a Sedis than did
the Ultegra cassette, which only seemed to like Shimano chains. I was
planning on replacing it with a Regina, and I'm hoping that it will work.
