2987.0. "'94 Fisher specs needed" by TOPTEN::PLEVA (RON, Piscataway NJ) Thu Jun 29 1995 20:23

I am looking for the component specifications for a '94 Gary Fisher
Procaliber Ltd. If anyone has a '94 catalog that you no longer need I
would really appreciate having it. If anyone can supply me with the
component list I would be greatfull. I just purchased this bike sight
onseen and expect to have it by the end of next week as it is shipping
from the factory. The LBS did not have a '94 catalog either.

    Thanks,

    Ron

    Ron,

So what kind of bargain did you get to buy it unseen?

Well it was not as though I didn't ride a similar bike. I had test
riden a '95 Supercaliber after reading a recent write up in Bicycling
or Mtn Bike magazine and loved the frame. I decided to place an order
for a '95 Procaliber during a sale the LBS was running but was informed
that Fisher was out of stock on 16.25" frames. But, they had a '94
Procaliber Ltd in the warehouse and It could be mine for a mere $2079.

This bike sold for $3500 smackers last year.... That's a whopping 40%
    discount.

I picked it up yesterday and took it out for my first ride today. What
a dream bike. It goes up hill like it has power assist drive or
something which I account to the fact that it weighs at least 5 lbs
lighter than my TREK 8000 w/ Manitou 3. I'm not too certain on fine
tuning the RS Mag21 as I didn't get a manual.
