2903.0. "QUESTION ON SELLING OFF OLD CAMPY STUFF" by STOWOA::SWFULLER () Tue Jan 17 1995 11:34

I have a friend that has a fully decked out Pinarello with engraved
campy record components (old record). Due to motherhood, etc, her
needs are changing and the old 42/53, gearing is unsuitable. One
option we are looking at is selling off some or all of this nice old
campy stuff. I have heard there is a market for equipment in nice
shape (it only has about 750 miles on it), anyone know of contacts or
prices that the market will bear?

there was an article in one of the past rags about a outfit that
dealt only with nthis stuff. when i get a minute i'll thumb through
the past issues. i know there was an address in there.

You might also try the Belmont Wheel Works. I know they buy up
all the unused Nuovo Record gear they can find. Ask for "Clint".z

I believe the company Chip is referring to in .1 is Bicycle Classics
of Denver. Michael Kone is the owner and their number is 303-777-0914.
