    	Chip,

Nothing specific, but Jay said things would begin at noon.

I'll call Ed later this morning and get what info I can from
    	him about the race.

BTW, there has been some concern about the condition of one
of the roads. Jay Carrington got the town to fill in some of
the bad spots, but there are still some bad spots to look out
    	for.

I went out and did the loop yesterday. The road to Rte. 62 is
incredibly bad (dangerous). Huge cracks and holes. I'd like
to give some advice on a line, but they are random, e.g. left,
right, middle, and all of the above.

The rest of the course is in pretty good shape. The only other tough
spot is where Williamsville road branches off (Templeton Rd.?) on
the way back into Hubbardston. It gets very narrow (sandy). Plus
you're on a decent so the pack will be cooking.

There's a lot of repair work if they're planning on it!

If they are doing 62 between Princeton and Hubbardston, you may as well
bring your mountain bike or get one of the Paris-Roubaix leftovers.
The road is in BAD shape.

    	Chip (or someone else),

So, what happened Satuday? I was supposed to work the race but
ended up working in here all weekend.

    	Chip,

    	45+	Bob Evans (NEBC)

Bob is a member of Ed Kross' club, NEBC. I believe he set
a course record (for his age group) the last time he rode
    	the Carlisle TT.

Bob is just like a machine... Smooth, consistent. Never blasts
off, never slows down. He climbs better than the average bear.

Thanks Tom... They're coming along. The get sore if I get too frisky
(like tonight - I'm sure - when I do my first TT since the episode).
