The originator of Note 2633 can probaly give you some good leads.
I have the results but would have to dig through a lot of stuff at
home. Ed Kross, who was mentioned in note 2633 was the RAAM Rookie of
    the Year.

perhaps .1 was writing about raam '92? Seanna Hogan won
    the women's division of RAAM 93 in 9d 15h ... with Muffy
Ritz an hour behind, these were the 2nd and 3rd fastest
crossings ever by women. As of Sunday when I called, the
men were still 100 miles or so out, the tandem was in Georgia
and I don't know how the teams were doing.

This RAAM had an unusually high dropout rate: 2 of 4 women
    and all but 7 men.

Ed (Kross) called me Saturday and the first thing he said
was, "She won." I thought, who the heck is he talking about?
Then I remembered our previous conversion about Seana and
Muffy. He then said, "They both beat my time." I said, "What
does that mean for you?" He said, "I have to ride faster."

Wayne Agee also mentioned Muffy. Said she was one fast, tough
    	rider. I guess so.

For those who might be thinking "My gosh, have the women beaten the
    men?"

No, they started two days earlier, but 9d 15h is faster faster than a
lot of men who have crossed the country.

Sorry, I should have stated the following:

    		1992	Ed Kross	9d 20h 56m
    		1993	Seana Hogan	9d 15h ??m (Faster than Ed in '92)
    		1993	Muffy Ritz	9d 16h ??m (Faster than Ed in '92)

I don't have the exact times, but both women beat Ed's 1992
    	time.

More details when someone gets there VeloNews or UMCA newsletter.

I guess I was thinking of the 92 race, I forgot that the RAAM
starts just after the TdF start.

By the way, what parts of the country are those two women from?
I will do my bike riding anywhere else. I have ridden with Ed and if
they can exceed his speed then they are excellent riders.

I haven't called for RAAM updates, but I assume from what
Wayne and Ed told me, Gerry Tatrai musta won for the men.
Acording to them, Kish was quite a ways behind him. If
Tatrai did win, that's two thirds and a first.

Wayne mentioned that Solon, once again, took off like a
rocket and then got sick or crashed.
