2503.1Any TV coverage???KYOA::BOYLEDirty Jobs Done Dirt CheapSun Mar 07 1993 16:344
    Is this being covered anywhere? I haven't seen any paper coverage or
    any ESPN updates, etc.

2503.2Tour is in May, not MarchASDS::GOTANTASWed Mar 10 1993 15:399

    The dates listed in .0 are somewhat incorrect. Substitute a 5 (as in
    May) for the 3's (March) and you have the correct dates, I believe.

    ESPN will be doing daily updates of the tour and CBS(?) will have at
    least one hour long show. Check your local listings...

    	Wouldn't you know. I'm going to be in Pennsylvania over the
    	weekend, not far from Hershey. However, I'll be there for
    	my daughter's graduation from college, so there's no way
    	I'm gonna be able to sneak over to Hershey and see the
    	finish.

    	Oh, well.

    	I'll just have to make sure I set the VCR to record on Saturday
    	and Sunday.

    	Raul Alcala wins. Final stage was a 36 mile TT. After starting
    	2 minutes behind Lance Armstrong, Raul Alcala passes him on
    	the course.

    	Alcala won in 1990 when the race was still the Tour de Trump.

    	On GC, Armstrong was second at 2:00+.
