2317.1Sag drivers needed for 92 TOSRV-EastLOWELL::GUGELhigher, harder, more painfulThu Jun 11 1992 14:3128
The tour directors are looking for sag wagon drivers for the
TOSRV-East weekend. In return for driving a sag wagon from
Rawsonville to Waterbury Center (or Rochester) and staffing a
checkpoint, you receive a free weekend in Vermont which includes
transportation costs, an overnight on Saturday at either a B&B
(Rochester) or a hostel (Waterbury Center), dinner Saturday
evening, and breakfast Sunday morning. Friday night, there is
"rustic" lodging provided (bring your sleeping bag) where camping
	is optional.

Sign up early and get the Rochester, Vt. spot at the B&B with
gourmet meals and refresh in the river nearby.

Perhaps you'd rather go all the way to Waterbury Center, where
Ben & Jerry's headquarters is located. Also on the longer
ride are good views of beautiful Camel's Hump, pretty Glen Falls,
and quaint Warren Village with one of the best bakeries in Vermont.

Optionally, you may wish to bicycle half or part of the way.
If you have a partner, you two can share the sagging and each
get to bike part of the way. With this option, each of you
pay half the standard cost of TOSRV, $25 or $28, depending
on whether you're staying at the hostel (cheaper) or the B&B.

Apply to Ellen Gugel at LOWELL::GUGEL, or call me at
    	home at (508)366-5884.
