2197.0. "Lunch rides at MK?" by JENEVR::DESANTIS () Wed Feb 26 1992 17:50

    Hey you Merrimack cyclists,

Anyone know if there are lunch time rides leaving from Merrimack? If
there are not, anyone interested in such rides? There are rides at
ZK, and I thought it would be fun to get something going at MK. I
will get it started if there is enough support for it.

I am thinking Tues and Thurs at lunch to start out. Please send me
    mail if interested.

Any comments and/or feedback will be greatly welcomed!

    I rode today. Great weather!

I often see a number of very small groups riding in the MKO area
at lunch time. Generally, there seem to be a wide variety of
interests so there are a lot of little groups.

Suggestion: Just pick a regular starting time and location and
advertise it here. Whoever shows up, goes.

I'm Tom Dahl, and I work in ZKO. I sometimes ride from ZKO during lunch. I work
in building 2; I either leave from the E parking lot (where I park my car), or
the bike rack between buildings 1 and 2 (if I cycled into work).

I usually don't know much ahead of time if I'll be riding or not; depends on
weather (don't like <35 degrees or real wet roads), work meetings near lunch
time, etc. My DTN is 381-0841, my Easynet mail address is LHOTSE::DAHL.

There's a regular GSW ride which leaves from the Tara, Tuesday/Thursday
at 11:30. Some of the riders are digits but we couldn't get DEC to
allow non-digits to park at ZK. They've gotten as many as 5 or 6
riders lately -- or as few as 1.
