When ya said "Shalot", (phonetic spelling) in place of Charlotte,
I thought fer sure you was tawkin' wit' a Baaaahhhhston twang...
Oh well, I was only eight hundred miles off...
I would feel uncomfortable spending a weekend with total strangers,
even fellow employees. But that's just me.
Please don't take offense, this is a great idea, and I do believe
it should be explored further.

I sent mail to John asking how the fundraiser went and he
said, "It's not until May 12th."
So, folks, Ed it talking about driving to Charlotte, North
Carolina for a ride on the 12th of May.

Thanks for the offer Ed, but it looks like I won't get to
meet J.E., bother him with autograph requests, photo shoots/poses,
mundane questions, like, "geez, you really gonna try to pedal
that thing across North America, in nine days or less ?!?!?!?!?!?"
Actually, I'm bummed I won't be able to ride on Ed's roof rack
all the way down to "Shallotte" !!!!! ---> :=)
Is John accepting contributions for his RAAM attempt?
(I know, dumb question)
Cathy Ellis is doing very similar things up here in New England,
attempting to raise capital for sag/life support...
