Well, there was a one-liner in the Globe, on Sunday I think, which
quoted Lemond as denying the signing with Fagor. Thats the last I've
heard. Maybe he's waiting for the Coors guys to kick in more bucks.

The "story" I heard yesterday was that the Z-P F team will use Team
Lemond bikes. There's a lot more $$$ potential in that than anything
    7-11 would come up with.

    	From VNS:

Greg Lemond is being taken to court by the Belgian ADR team for
breach of contract. Lemond, who is expected to sign for the Z team
tomorrow, has completed one year of a two year contract.

LeMond believed that his contract with ADR was void because they had
been late making payments to all members of the team. I had also heard
rumor that ADR would not be back as a sponsor next year, but I guess
they are if they are willing to sue to keep LeMond.

BTW LeMond had a two year contract with PDM but the higher-ups at PDM
didn't have their crystal ball working because they were more than
happy to let him (and his salary) go after his disappointing '88
    season.

Actually the PDM folks have not had a good record lately. First they
loose Delgado and he wins the TdF, then they let LeMond go and he wins
it. If this trend continues next year it will either be Steven Rooks
or Gert-Jan Theunisse who both have left to go to Panasonic.

	From VNS today:

Roger Zannier, president of the childrens clothes company
Zannier, has confirmed that Greg Lemond will ride for his "Z" team.
Lemond apparently signed the contract on Augusrt 26. Zannier also
revealed that Toshiba had bid a bigger retainer than Z.
