| If you want to save a few dollars and hit two birds with
one stone do to speak, buy a wind trainer. Its great for
adjusting your derraileurs and such, and when winter or wet
days roll around you'll get double duty out of it. There seems
to be plenty of them around cheap at this time of year. Check
the For Sale notes, you might find one there.

I saw at least two work stands sold at "The Big Event" on
Saturday... one went to a friend of mine for some undisclosed
price and I bought one from the AYH table for $25.
As usual, the bargains were rampant! It cost my girlfriend
only about $20 to do a major upgrade on her drivetrain:
Pedals/toe-clips/straps, rear deraileur, new freewheel.

| sometime in the last year I believe the Mother Earth News had a
"build a bike workstand" Looked easy and seemed quite useful.
