	The Digital Bike Club has about $200.00 available for its
	members.  At the July meeting, we proposed to have a Bike Club Ride 
	and Picnic in Chelmsford, because a picnic will be a good activity
	to bring the bike club together and seems to be in the
	right cost range for our funds.

	We need to find out how Bike Club members feel about having
	some sort of get-together, and we need to decide on a date.
	A suggestion for a date is August 23.

	The following reply describes the availability of services
	for us and the costs.

	This looks like it will be a good time, so reply with your 
	suggestions!

	Preliminary information for having a Bike Club Picnic: Cost: $60 INCLUDES: pool, lifeguard, bartender, volleyball court, one basketball hoop. when available: NO saturdays in August. All Sundays in August Friday the 29'th, maybe the 22'nd (might be booked) I suggest we do it Sunday the 24'th. we can have a ride in the morning/afternoon, and start around 5. The club does not close until 6, so some others might still be around, but this is typically not the case on Sunday. Even if we start around 3:30 or 4, there won't be many others around. We may start anytime, and stay until midnight. how to reserve: we must put down $30 to reserve the place. food: we may bring any food or non-alchoholic drinks, but all alchoholic drinks must be purchased from the bar. NO GLASS containers (pool). we have the option of having them supply food. roughly $5.50/person hamburgers, hotdogs, salads, chips, fixings, etc $7.50/person chicken and other stuff $8.00/person shishkabob and other we may get menus if we want this option. I think the hamburgers one would be good. we could subsidize the price, say $2 for club members, $5 for non-club members (what a deal).
