For those of you who may not know...
There is an excellent racing series every Sunday morning in Newton,
MA. Beginners clinic at 8:30, Intermediate I at 9:15, Int II at
10:00, Advanced at 11:00.
The clinic is for those who have never raced, the advanced is a
tough, fast race, and others are in between.
Take 128 to exit 56E. Right on 2nd Avenue. Left on Nahanton St.
Right on Wells Ave. You will then be on the race course. Take
a left at the fork to find the parking lot.
Race is criterium style; 0.8 mile course.
Run by Boston Road Club. $3.00 per race for non-members, $1.00
for members. $15.00 to join the club.

I have attended many of these and still do. There are many members of the
Bicycle Alley racing team who attend these on a regular basis. I'm sure
you have seen the blue and gold jerseys. This is an excellent training series
which allows all levels of abilities to compete. I would recommend this to
anyone who is considering racing as a good starting point as well as doing
some club time trials.

I've been going there for years. Will look around for you. What

I've been going there for 3 years. I bring a lot of first year racers
there because its a good place for them to start and get a taste for racing.
I think I'll be there this Sunday for the "B" race. I ride a green
Cannondale.
