SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2 - Cross Country Skiing at Northfield Mountain.
    Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Boxborough for carpooling, or at 
    10:00 a.m. at the Visitor Center at Northfield Mountain, Route 63 in 
    Northfield, Mass.  (North off Route 2 just before the French King 
    Bridge over Connecticut River).  Trip will be cancelled if there's no 
    snow there.  If questionable, call Chris Paulhus, the leader, Saturday 
    evening at 772-0784.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 7:30 p.m. - The Fitchburg Cycling Club will hold a 
    Flea Market as part of their February Meeting which will be held in the 
    T.C. Passios Elementary School, Route 2A, Lunenburg, Mass.  Please come 
    and take part in the Flea Market whether you wish to buy, sell, or 
    both.

SUNDAY, MARCH 16 - 10:00 a.m. - Meet at Gamache's Cyclery, 65 Laurel 
    Street, Fitchburg, for a 20-25 mile ride through Townsend into 
    Lunenburg for a visit to Ewen's Sleepy Hollow Sugar House and Cider 
    Mill. Bring lunch.  (If there is too much snow to bicycle, we will 
    cross country ski instead.)

    The ride will be followed by an Open House at Gamache's where many new 
    products will be on display.  There will be many specials and a 20 
    percent discount on merchandise, with the exception of bicycles, for 
    members of participating clubs.  A drawing will also take place with 
    many items to be given away.

    The Open House will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

      BIKE SEMINARS:  

      Dave is in the process of putting together some lunch time bike 
      seminars.  The topics will include selecting a new bike, followed by 
      a maintenance seminar.  If anyone has any suggestions on what they 
      would like him to cover, such as fixing flats, truing wheels, or 
      whatever, he'll be glad to include them.  Also he can bring things 
      with him such as tires, tubes, cables, etc. if people notify him 
      before.

NEAR '87 UPDATE . . . The New England Area Rally is planning its next 
      biannual event for summer 1987 in southern New Hampshire.  The 
      Granite State Wheelmen will be the host club.  If you want to help

      type NOTES or VNOTES at the $ prompt.  When you get to the NOTES> 
      prompt, type:

      Or, you can add this to your LOGIN.COM file.  Just edit LOGIN.COM and

T-SHIRTS . . . There are still plenty of DEC Bike Club t-shirts in a 
    variety of sizes (including children's sizes, but no more adult 
    mediums).  If you'd like one, send a check for $5 made out to "DEC
