    Last time I took a company car abroad I had to get AA 5 Star cover. My
    present car (a Mazda) is covered by Mazda European Assistance (Mondial
    in fact). Does anyone know how this shapes up to AA 5 Star and whether
    I still need to get the AA cover as far as Digital goes?
    
    I could read all the bumph myself butI'm hoping someone may be able to
    offer some first hand advice.

    Have you looked in the Euro motoring conference I think it resides on
    ROCKS. 
    
    I'm not sure of the differences between Mondial & AA.  Digital have
    only one rule, you are responsible for fixing your car and getting it
    back to the UK. In effect this means that you don't need any insurance
    for breakdown or accident (Except TPTF) so long as you are prepared to 
    pay for any eventualities yourself. Most of these types of insurance
    cover passengers for injury etc and usually differ so it's worth
    checking out what you get/need for your money.
