    I am thinking of getting a Japaneese Jeep as a second motor.
    
    I want something that is fairly tough (won't get other car door dents
    whilst in a car park) and preferably Diesel for cheapness in running
    and a longer lasting engine.
    
    I want it to be reasonably comfortable on-road and have fair off-road
    ability.
    
    I am looking to spend about 4K, currently a TD Daihatsu Fourtrak looks
    the part!                           
    
    Any suggestions, comments or reference to another note if one exists!
