Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a Lancia Beat Spider 2.0.

Its a 1981 model in good condition with no rust, 
40000km (genuine) and a full history. Its also has two
sets of wheels (alloy) and tyres. The asking price
is SFr 11500.-. Thats about #4500 - $5000 in the UK.

Has anyone out there had any experience with this car
or the Beta in general. I would probably use it in the
winter over here in Switzerland so I'm a little worried
about rust (early 80's + Italian = RUST).

	A friend used to have a 1.3 Beta, about W reg (?? Old, anyway!) which had a rust problem but was mechanically okay, and it went like stink! Even if it was a little on the noisy side. As for the price, 'fraid I can't help there. Chris.

	re .2 Its an '81 with only 40000Km, good condition and no rust. My feeling is the price is OK and it will hold its value if looked after. /Paul.
