    Glass's guide is available to the trade only.
    
    Try the Parker's guide, available from newsagents. It's accurate enough for 
    the private buyer.

    Could some kind person post the Glass's (or whatever they use) Guide
    price for a Ford Granada Mk II 2.8 Ghia X? It's got an A registration
    and has done about 10,000 miles. It's **NOT** the Injected version...
    it has good old fashioned easily fixable carbs. Condition would be
    rated as A1. It's my father-in-law's and I **KNOW** how he looks after
    it.
    
    This might just be where I put some of my redundancy money......

    Thanks, Doug. How, in your opinion, would the extremely low mileage
    affect the values that you quote if the vehicle was used as a trade in?
    
    The 10K miles is verifiably true as my father-in-law has kept all the
    MoT certificates. I bought his last car (another Granada, this time a
    Mk I) off him 8 years ago when it had only done 25K miles in five years
    from new. For him, 5K/annum was **HIGH** mileage..... ;-). The Mk I has
    still only done a total of 52K miles from new. Since I just got the
    redundancy package, I was looking for a cheap but well-looked after and
    reliable motor and father-in-law's timing is impeccable.

    So, how about an 85C plated BMW 323i, with 93,000 miles ? FSH,
    normal c*ap ...

Thanks for that. It is infact a C-reg. It must be an '85 model on an '86
plate.

Do you have the price for a 2-door 325i on a C plate, just to give me an
idea of what price to aim for ?

    Just re-checked it, according to the book, the "old" fiesta ran from a
    Y plate to a F plate and was the XR2 not the "i".
    
    The "i" was introduced in Sept 89 on a G plate, the price quoted was
    for a car with alloys, which became standard in Sept 91.

    			90H 23K		6825		5600
    			91H 16K		7475		6175

    So the adjustment for mileage takes yours with 40K on it back (as

    The Book is silent on such 'toys'.  Contacts tell me it's a buyers
    market as and when they come up.  If you've got the cash, "nick 'em".
    
    A couple of guys I know who have 'invested' in Ferrari's are just
