road that goes from Cliddesdon to Alresford, south of Basingstoke?

I can't find Cliddesdon, but if you are talking about the one that goes from A339 (right) and then crosses the A31 at Alresford it's the B3046. | |||||

Thanks to all for *very* quick response!
If any of you are travelling that route, look out for the tyre marks
just after the turning to some "estate office", going away from
Basingstoke.....there should also be some deer droppings on the road,
it was *that* close! The incident was as good an argument for fitting
ABS as standard as I'll ever want!
