1372.0. "O drivers...bad or worse..??" by LARVAE::HUTCHINGS_P (Nice Computers Don't Go Down) Tue Feb 26 1991 20:22

After careful perusal of the notes in this conference, I have realised
that a belief that I have had for years regarding "bad/offensive/mad/
    stupid/insert_favourite_phrase_here" drivers.......is true..!!

They all drive cars that end in "O"......!!!!!!!

eg: MetrO, MaestrO, VolvO, etc etc etc...

It's true....next some idiot perfoms an "unusual" manouver...check it
    out...it's a 99% chance he/she/it will be an "O" driver..!!!

Any comments from the panel/ "O" drivers..????

    :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

And by the way, I drive? an Xr3i..laugh now and forever hold your peace
I'ts paid for and gets me around...so don't mock...!!!

and I'm not an O driver.

XR2 drivers are the worst.. but then I'm biased 'cos one wrote off the first
car I ever owned ;-(

I hate stereotypes and gross over-generalisations ;-)

    I hate people who generalise .... ;^)

    ... but I find the <I_can_drive_as_badly_as_I_like_because_I_am_surrounded_
by_a_nice_big_metal_cage>O car drivers by far the worst drivers on the
    road.

I'm glad I'm a worse driver now I've got a Volvo. No doubt I'll get better
if I can afford another Audi 100 (note - an i car).

I look forward to when I can buy a Diablo

I am sure that would make me a 'seriously bad' driver...

Re: .3

XR2 drivers would surely fall into the "O" bracket...after all TWO ends in an
"O" !

I, on behalf of the household's three "o" cars, would like to take
    exception with the base note.

    Yours,
Alfa Romeo GTV, 75V6 and Spider. :-)

I suppose Reneau ;-) would qualify, especially the plastic kit car
variety, with yellow fog lamps !!

Is it my imagination, or are all AllegrOs driven at 25 mph by old
people wearing hats? (No offence to anyone reading of course...)

Aha, so by changing between the cars, the driving changes?

ex MaestrO, current MontegO, landrover, and NG TC V8.

woman-with-a-blue-rinse, and a maxi or VolvO driver.
