Hi,
Is anybody out there in company car land interested in taking over
the lease on a Citroen BX19 TZD with ABS, electric windows, electric
sun-roof etc plus 45 - 50 miles on a gallon of diesel? 18,000 miles on
the clock and 20 months left on the lease.
Looks like a my new house is going to force me to look for something
cheaper, i.e an Astra or the like.

If it's so economical, won't an Astra cost you more? Maybe the Astra's
a diesel too.

Not really, the difference is going to be about 500 a year
so I should be able to save.

But as it'll be paid in salary it'll be taxable, hence 25% or 40%
less!! = 375 or 300 PER YEAR in pocket. Will this really help you
afford a house?
