1136.0. "Country of Origin Plates" by SIEVAX::CORNE (This Space Intentionally Left Blank) Fri Jul 06 1990 17:56

This doesn't seem to have a topic of its own yet...

Where is TR?

The only thing I've managed to come up with so far is Tyrany of Rumania

re .2,

Well, it wasn't a TR - but it might have been a TRabant (sp?) - I don't see
enough of these in Berkshire to recognise one :-)

    I tried adding the entry "TIMII::EURO_MOTORING"
    And it came up with; "Remote Node Unknown"

    So, here is the question I was going to look up the answer for;

    What plates are given to cars in Hong-Kong?

    I took the no. plates off of my Beetle last w'end, and found another
    set underneath with the number " AT 1573 "
    The previous owner imported the car from Hong Kong, so for
    authenticitys sake, I am curious as to what letters went with the car.

    .... GBH(k)  perhaps !!
