| You do not buy Morgans in this country, you inherit places on the
waiting list to be considered as an owner :-)
Seriously, current prices for cars are for something silly like a 2 or
3 year waiting list, so they would not be terribly relavent, if you are
looking for a purchase price to compare with!, I agree with -1, +8's
are like gold-dust, and fetch "silliar than thou" prices, often well
above list price for a second hand car!

| Got to agree with the other notes posted - new car has impossible
waiting list, second-hand don't appear too often and when they do
don't be surprised to find rot. For a handbuilt car they don't seem
to build much 'durability' into the thing.
Sources for prices and s'hand sales would be in magazines like Classic
Car and Practical Classics.
As to shipping - if you are in the London area or some kind Deccie
on YUPPIE:: wants to help, then you should get copies of the
Australasian 'giveaways' like LAM and TNT. These magazines have
loads of shippers in the classified adds who are very experienced
in the methods of shipping cars to NZ and AUS. One thing you're
friend will need to find out is how long he has to own the car in
England before he can get the tax-free benefits of shipping his
car to NZ.
Keep your fingers crossed, you might get the use of a Morgan for
6 mths !

For those in the UK:
Next week's "The Troubleshooter" (Sir John Harvey-Jones analysing the financial
prospects of various firms) on BBC2, Tuesday, is about the Morgan Car Company.
Apparently Morgan want to increase production by 1 car a week...
H-J may suggest something radical...
