    Well, I finally ENJOYED driving to work this morninng!
    
    I drive along the road from Aldershot, via Church Crookham and the
    past Odiham and on to the M3.Usually the drive is completed at between
    40 and 50 mph at best and 0 mph at worst (Coming off the M3 at
    Basingstoke).

    Today I was flying along the roads between Aldershot and the M3
    at speeds up to 70mph (where legal, of course!) and able to enjoy
    some of the excellent handling and roadholding that my car possesses.

Well it has been reported that in the midlands a policeman stopped a car.
The policeman took out his book to write down the drivers details.
Unfortunatly the driver was Polish, and the policeman just couldn't write 
down his name. So, the policeman let the diver off with a warning and the
comment, I'm just not _cut out_ for this job.

    Near where I live, we used to get a lot of long-term visitors from the
    middle-East.   A popular source of amusement was to watch traffic-
    wardens trying to write down the arabic scraipt on the number-plates!

    I've not seen Arabic ONLY plates (that I recall), but I've seen many
    with both Arabic AND Latin script (presumably they say the same thing!
    :^)). Is this Saudi Arabia that does this?

Oh well, i suppose i might as well put in the Crimble '92 reply!

Gosh its boring, just about everybody has taken today off as holiday
so the office is dead. I can't even go to the pub and get merry 'cos
i am driving tonight.

If anyone passes a black MR2 (H324CHT) on the M6 between Birmingham
and Preston tonight (or rather, if anyone is passed by!) then give us
a toot and a wave - it will probably be the highlight of my day.
