    like swapping valves!!).  This cam works best with Twin 40s or 45s

    Never having had to go down that route for a while probably dulls one
    brain,  but how can you you have 13 months MOT ?  I thought it ran for

    Driving down the A34, I often have trouble with submarines doing only 5
    mph in the gutter. Sounds like a good idea.

No, they don't make one for the Isetta, yet....

800 means 800 CFM - Cubic Feet per Minute - lots of air to be pulled through a
carb.  Enough to suck pigeons off the sidewalk....

It certainly  does  have  a  clutch.   It  just  doesn't have a clutch pedal
because it is AUTOMATIC!

As well  as  having automatic gear boxes, automatic cars also have automatic
clutches (at least this one does).

The Volvo automatic differs from the usual in two ways:

First it   does   not   have  distinct  gears  it  has  Continuous  Variable
Transmission  (CVT) which uses variable diameter pulleys to achieve a smooth
increase  in gear ratio and virtually constant engine speed (it is this part
that is in need of some attention).

Secondly the  clutch  disengages  when stationary.  It only engages when you
press the accelerator (it feels like the centrifugal clutches used in mopeds
but  I believe it is actually just like a normal clutch with the engine revs
providing  the  pressure  to  the  plates).  This means that hill starts are
similar  to manual cars (most automatics wont roll back on a hill - this one
will).   It  also  doesn't  creep  forward when in gear unless you press the
accelerator.

    I'm so sorry for jumping to conclusions I stand corrected. It does'nt
    have a fluid torque convertor, it has all those belts and pulleys.
    
    Perhaps I should have included a :-) or two.
