Every once in a great while, we are up real late over the weekend with the TV on (usually doing some kind of home improvement job), when the fab Canadian comedy show "Kids in the Hall" comes on the air for a whole hour (two shows). I _think_ it is on CBS, I think on Saturday, and I _think_ either from 2:00 to 3:00 AM or 3:00 to 4:00 AM. I miss this show since it was dropped from HBO. It has a _slightly_ different non-US 'spin' to it that I find oddly refreshing and enjoyable even when some of the skits turn out to be bad. There's always one small feature each show that makes me laugh and stays with me (even on their worst nights). Anyway I missed the show and was surprised to see it over the airwaves again. I've seen it on the air late weekends several times now (including maybe even a year ago), but have forgotten about the exact station and times each time morning comes around. It also seems to be on very sporadically, and often has been time-shifted (like on from 2:15 to 3:15 or so). Can anyone verify the channel and show times for me? Or know how long it has been/will be on for? I'd like to get my VCR to catch these shows for more timely viewing... can't believe I've been missing these all this time. -Erik

199.3 | Kids in the Hall Address? | SPESHR::MCGREAL | Fri Dec 10 1993 12:07 | 11
Is there a "Kids in the Hall" fan club or an address where they can be reached? I wrote to Comedy Central asking for a fan club address and they sent me a very nice "Short Attention Span Theater" bumper sticker and some play money, but no address. I think they are hysterical. I've seen all the old episodes at least 4-5 times and I tune in at 9pm every night hoping for a new one. Jane.

try C.B.C. (Canadian Broadcasting Corp,) Toronto, Ontario Canada phone 416-205-3311 They can direct you to the producers. I think Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live had a hand in this show.
