    I was thinking about evengelizing with children with the note prior
    note.
    
    I have fond memories of the Salvation Army though and still send them
    contributions every so often.
    
    Their recent mailing to me contained some history of Camp Wonderland in
    Sharon, Ma.  Since I attended Camp Wonderland twice as a child, I was
    interested in the History.
    
    In addition to Camp wonderland, I attended Camp Andover, operated by
    the Boston City Missionary Society.  Camp Andover/Waldron was located
    on Lake Winnesquam in New Hampshire.  The Congregational/UCC church I
    attended was affiliated with the Boston City Missionary Society.
    
    The Salvation ARmy also provided my family with a food vouchers on many
    Thanksgivings for a turkey dinner.  I did attend the Salvation Armies
    Church school a couple of times because a neighbor attended.
    
    Except for the Church School which obviously was a church activity, all
    the support came with "no strings attached".  
    
    But I realize that I did learn a lot about Christianity from the
    Salvation Army and the Boston City Missionary Society with their "no
    strings attached" support.

    I probably know about as much as you do.  I do know they believe in the
    tenets of Christianity, i.e. redemption needed, etc.
