| Melissa,
I can't believe that you did not leave a countdown at the end of your
note. I to am getting married this year. I met my bride to be on the
"Holiday" back in april of 90. We were checking on cruises, and were
going to go on the ecstasy, but she sweet talked me into Sandals all-
inclusive in Ocho Rios Jamaica instead. I am looking forward to that.
We will get married on october 19, and honeymoon october 26. I recall
my carnival cruise, barely though. I killed ALOT of brain cells from
MASSIVE drinking and partying. Going on a cruise is a fun way to put
a couple nails into your coffin. I envy you. Hey, can you swing by
Atlanta, and put me into your suitcase. When I get delivered to your
room, I'll just sleep on the deck. Carnival is the ULTIMATE party.
later for now mon,

Hi Bob,
I can't believe you met your bride on a Carnival Ship!!! That is so
coooooool. I can't wait to go on the Ecstasy this summer...I will
let you know how it goes. I have never heard of Sandals..Is it a
cruise that's all inclusive? I know how woman can sweet talk a man
into getting what they want...I would never do that thought!!!(yeah
right)...
I killed many brain cells on my cruise too!!! I guess I could swing by
to Atlanta and stick you in my garmet bag...My soon to be husband
wouldn't mind...He loves to Party too, and the more, the merrier.
Congratulations on your October 19th Wedding....I know I am going to
need a vacation after this is over with...This planning is making me
crazy and broke.....But I'm sure you know how it is...
later for now mon,

| Hi Kim,
What a coincidence!!!!!Congratulations, you certainly picked a good
day.....
I was kinda nervous about getting seasick myself last year. The
Jubilee was the biggest ship Carnival had which was over 40,000 tons.
I stayed on the Main Deck which was level 4. I didn't get seasick
once!!! You have to understand that I drank a lot, so when I walked
in the hallway, I couldn't tell if I was swaying because of the ship
rocking or if it was the alcohol kicking in.... 8*)
It really depends on where you stay on the ship, the higher you are,
the less you will notice..I stayed in cabin 4 and the only bad movement
was in the shower because you are so closed in, you really feel it...
I am staying on the Veranda deck for our Honeymoon, ( V40 ) I think
it's the very top of the ship. The travel agent told me that We
wouldn't feel any movement at all. I personally don't think you will
have any problem at all. The ECTASY ship is over 70,000 tons which is
almost twice is big as the Jubilee. I wouldn't even worry about it..
As far as the weather, It was very HOT!!! I did however, go to the
Mexican Riviera so the weather might be differen't compared to the
Caribbean side. Either way, it's beautiful weather. It does get hot
when you are on the islands however, when you are on the ship, you
really get a nice breeze to keep you cool. It's still very hot..
Definatly be careful in the sun. I know Carnival has a really neat
thing just for honeymooners. I'm not too sure what they do because I
wasn't one last year. I know that they sit the honeymooners together
at the dinner tables. (Eight to a table). There are usually about
500 or better honeymooners.. I think that it's great that we are going
on the same ship at the same time. We will definatly have to get
together and have fun...I am so excited to go, If you have any
more questions, definatly ask...You are going to have the time of your
life. What is your cabin #. We will surely stop by... Mine is (V40).

Hi Melissa,
I am in the M section, cant remember exactly what deck we are on. I
will check though. I was wondering if they do something extra for
honeymooners, but how do they know we are honeymooners? I didn't book
through a travel agent, I booked through Citi-travel, and we didn't
tell them we were honeymooners. Also, did they already ask you how
many people you wanted to eat dinner with and what seating. We chose
the early seating.
This ship will only be 2 months old when we go on it, should be real
nice. Is there plenty of room by the pools to lay out, do you have to
get there early to get a chair?
How did you drink if you were not 21 yet? Do people get out of control
drinking, people aren't obnoxious are they???
How are the drink prices? Where are you from? You can send me vax
mail if you want.

| You don't have to worry about chairs on the deck. There are plenty.
If you want to get a chair by the pool, get out there no later than 10
a.m. Drink prices are reasonable. I was surprised. I drank like a
fish, was generous in buying rounds, and ordered asti spumante every
night by the bottles at our table, and my HALF was only $350. The ship
has every crowd onboard. I was DEFINATELY a partyer, loud, goodtiming,
fun, person. There is SO much room, that doesn't effect anyone. By
the end of the cruise, I had over 50 addresses of people onboard, and
we keep in touch. Mainly at Christmas though. When the clubs close
at 3-4 a.m., then you can go onto the deck and watch the orange
caribbean moon sink into the ocean. My relationship with my fiance
has started like a fairy tale novel. Till death do us part. I want to
go so bad on a cruise, just cant afford it.
Sandals, all inclusive, is a all inclusive resort in Jamaica that we
are going on our honeymoon. All booze, fun, water sports, food,
everything, including air fare is included. ALL INCLUSIVE. I am
going to Jamaica for my bachelor party in july. Reggae Sunslpash in
Montego bay. Holiday_travel notes.

| You are actually going to Jamaica for your bachelor party? Can I come!!
Your wife to be is going to let you go? Where is she going for hers?
I think that you should go on a cruise!! The ECTASY!!! You can come
with my soon to be husband and your wife can go to Jamaica!! I don't
think she would appreciate that though....I'll just have to order some
Asti for you...I'll just have to have LOADS of fun without you...(am I
making you want to go!!!) You should talk to her tonight and tell her
you want to go on the ECTASY!
I'm just kidding, I think Jamaica will be very nice!!! When is your
wedding again? Well, I will let you know how the ECTASY is and tell
you all about the fun I had, I probably don't have to though, you
already know how much fun I am going to have.
We'll miss you.....

| Just wanted to let you know that the higher the deck you're on, the more apt
you are to feel motion. The best place for the least motion is on a middle deck
in the middle of the ship. The most motion is felt at the ends of the ship.
The travel agent was correct to tell you not to worry about motion sickness if
the ship you're sailing on is good-sized.
If you want to be on the safe side, bring some dramamine and keep something
in your stomach (that's why there's food available 90% of the time).
Have fun!
