    Hi Everyone,
    
    	Here we go again !
    
    	The 1992 DECgolf World Open is offically under way. Once again
    I'd like to congratulate last years winners, and hope they can 
    defend their titles. Mens "Best 18 Gross" division had a 4 way tie, 
    so lets see if one of the four gentlemen can win this years title !
    For more information about 1991's tourny please refer to note
    1130 .
    
    	Any scores entered after NOV 30 1992 will no longer be accepted.
    
    	The rules;
    
    	1. You must be a DEC employee.
    
    	2. Play "at least" 9 holes anywhere and if your score is better
    than the existing score, then please enter it here.
    
    	3. All handicaps are welcomed. League handicaps included.
    
    	There are many categories to compete in, and both a Men and 
    Womens division ;
    
    	Best 18 holes   Gross + Net
    
    	Best 9 holes	Gross + Net
    
    	Best 9x2 holes  Gross + Net  (9x2 = playing the same 9 holes twice)

	I'll enter one that may not last all summer but it's a personal best on my home course. Men's Gross for 18 75 Mens Net for 18 75 -13 = 62 (Thats the USGA Index, Not my club handicap) Course: Hackberry Creek CC Dallas TX Yardage 6856 from the tees I played Course Rating 73.6 Slope 132 Front Nine 37 Back Nine 38 It may not be much, but I was elated on Saturday. My handicap went from 8 to 13 over the past year due to the severity of this course. Water in play on 14 holes and plenty of out of bounds. Rated the 5th toughest course in North Texas and thats alot of golf courses. Ken

	Walta, before you do... Just had my career round this past weekend. Not sure if it set any records here but may have tied one or two. I'm a member at Green Meadow G.C. Green Meadow, Farmingdale Me. Par 34 + 36 = 70 Rated 67.1 Slope 123 Handicap = 20 USGA index = 18.3 Friday Jun 12, 1992 Front 37 - 10 = 27 (-7) Back 42 - 10 = 32 (-4) Total 79 - 20 = 59 (-11) The handicap will be comming down in a big way after this career weekend as I shot 83,82,83 Sat-Sun. 	Hi Walta, Well, we got off to a slow start this year but I have a score to post from the golf league playng out of Santa Clara, Ca. Womens entry; Beth Gieger Lake Chabot G C 21-jun-92 score 47-36 = 83 gross hdcp 22 36-25 = 61 net par 36-36 = 72 course = 6100 yds rating = 68.4 Mens Entry Dick Rosemont Lake Chabot G C 21-jun-92 score 38-39 = 77 gross hdcp 23!! 27-27 = 54 gross course = 6180 rating = 67.3 Dicks son Wayne who plays as a guest in our tourneys shot a gross 63 !! Tied the course record ! He is going to try and qualify for the tour this year. Dick had never shot below 90 in our events before his blistering 54 net !! 	Re. .20 Well I jumped from a 20 to a 17 that next week and I'm at a 16 now. Shot 35 on the front at Green Meadow yesterday to tie for low net of a 27 with the other folks here. Just couldn't sink a put on the back and shot boogey golf out there Arrrrgghh. Front 35 - 8 = 27 (par 34, + 1), Back 45 - 8 = 37 (par 36, +9) Tot= 80 - 16 = 64 (par 70, +10)
