Hi, I posted one note this morning but has been removed from conference notes ... Customer is using NFS and automount.direct and indirect. He wants to know the maximum length for one entry in /etc/exports file. For instance, he is using a length of 256 in these file. Any ideas would be appreciate. These time, don't remove my note... The mountd source code seems to say 2048 charactere lines. However, there are other limits like 256 nodes for root and write permission. Any particular reason the customer hasn't experimented on his own? [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
