Doro Pesch is her name, she is German and has supported such bands
as Dio with her old band Warlock.
She got pi$$ed off with the Warlock guys so she decided to go it
alone.
Her newest album cranks - its called Force somethingorover and (when
I haven't got a busted needle) get regular play on the TonyTurntable.

Yup.. Doro is Awesome.. I saw her 3 times when she was in
Warlock.. mint show... I'm just glad she kept that bassist,
He was mint in concert...

| I saw her on an MTV interview and she was kinda quiet and shy in

She did a little "plug" for the HBB Saturday night and she's

| Doro Pesch is working on her latest album in Los Angeles.
It is being produced by Kiss bassist Gene Simmons. Gene
is supposed to have co-written some of the material with
Doro and will also be making a guest appearance on the LP.
Doro has also penned some tracks with Diane Warren and Toto
man David Paich. Toto Guitarist Steve Lukather is also
featured. It is as yet unamed but is due for release during
late March/early April. With this album, Doro will be moving
in a fresh direction, taking a more melodic, commercial sound.
"Unholy Love" and "Broken" are a couple of the tracks that
look likely to be included.

| Two friends of mine auditioned recently for the spot of guitarist
in Doro's touring band. You know, we were ALL left wondering WTF
she wants in a guitarist, as noone got the gig (and they're both HOT
players!!!). Seems as if Doro is one flakey b*tch who hires/fires
people left n right. Even the keyboardist who did her album and last
two tours didn't know if he was gonna make this year tour. Whatever.

Help !!!
I started listening to Doro a while ago and have just finished
buying the Warlock albums, sadly her solo album has just been deleted
here and I can't get hold of a copy. Does anybody know where I can get
a copy on CD in the U.K. or a way of getting it over from Germany ?

Not sure which is her "solo" album, but I have Doro's _Force Majeure_
CD sitting right here...just waiting to go to a new home!! if you'd
be willing to pay for the postage, I'd be happy to ship it off.
I never got into the lp.

| I think she had one solo and a Doro plus Warlock(warlock written in
small letter underneath)then after that it was a best of album called
rare gems.I stopped collecting them after the triumph and agony and
only saw them once supporting W.A.S.P,very biiling and well worth the
six quid!!!

Ok Guys,
I've just been onto various record stores and she has
released 4 albums after leaving Warlock. These are - Rare Diamonds
(with Warlock), Force Majeure (now deleted in the UK), Doro (also
deleted) and True at Heart (either not yet released or just not here).
re.16 Can you mail me a price ?
If anybody can get me 'Doro' or 'True at Heart' please mail me.

Somebody help,
After many years of searching, I still have not been able
to get hold of Force Majeure, True at Heart, or the new one, Doro Live.
All three albums have only been released in Germany (as far as I know),
and the record companies can't get them.
If anyone out there would be able to get hold of all three
on CD, then please mail me.
