Absolutely !!

Everyone gets to be in the album, thats the idea...  Band promos are cool too.

Since I'll buy the album, I get to make up the captions that go under the 
pics that don't have suggestions attached to them. (heh-heh-heh!)  So if
you send a pic, you might also think about putting your name and any vital
info you might want under your pic.

I also promise to be kind to all pictures of people who care to pose
with the following brands of guitars submitted:

Fenders
Rickenbackers 
Gibsons

    	The photo album should go ahead as planned I think, but we could
    have some more fun with an electronic copy.  I'll offer to scan the 
    photo's for the UK dooooods & I'll forward them (electronic & paper)
    on to the requesite album compilers (sorry forgot who's who, I'll check 
    previous replies).  
    
    	I got an MD300 here & I'm prpared to do some DECwrite work if need be.
    For those UK types who ain't got stations I can produce postscript
    prinouts on request.
    
    	The larger the  photo the better the scan (up to A4 size) so the
    Ideal situation would be to scan in enlarged photo's but send the
    regular size one to the hardcopy album.

    I've got an MD300 "available to me", but I have never yet been able
    to get a color pic to scan, all I ever get is a black mess.  Should
    the Photo to be scanned be a B&White.....

    		Yeah, its only half tonal but if you play around with the 
    contrast, grain, etc you can get a very good representation, you'll get
    the knack, you'll be able to look at a photo & guess the settings after
    a few runs.

We just got the Heavy_Metal notes conference album back from Southern 
California, and it's AWESOME !  About 42 pages of hairspray and memories.
;)  That album has been all over the country for the past year, and it's
been to Europe twice !

      Me 2 - I had my wife click off some shots at Saturday's gig. 
    I could use a few pictures anyway. Hopefully out of 24 shots
    I'll only make stupid faces on 23 of them. I may run off another
    shot with the stack since I didn't use it this weekend. I used 
    the KH rack and the B.C. Rich but I think she took a few shots 
    when I switched to the Les Paul after snapping my G string 
    (on my guitar dummies).

Re. .116:

Well, I bought it new in 1969! (don't ask me how old I am ;-) ). Originally,
it was equipped with mini humbuckers, but a friend of mine, having a small
guitarshop with all kind of old rarities (you should have seen some of them!)
sold me some original P.A.F.'s from an old broken LP, and I put them on my 
gold top. The guitar turned into a devil!

The white Gary Levinson Blade I don't think many of you know - take a Fender
Strat, multiply with 2, and you have a Blade (the same goes for the price 
:-( )...

I had to use the cable cause I'm not that famous that others take pictures
of me...yet...:-}...

    When is the book going to "head west" like all smart young men?

      My pics are selected and heading down to ya Coop. All are from
    a gig last weekend. I'll try to update sometime in the future 
    with a stack shot (darn I hate carrying it around, but it looks
    killer so I'll do it).

I'd say there are about 25 pix in the album so far.  A lot of people
are submitting multiple pix, so it should be a THICK album by the
time we're done.

Keep the pix coming.  I'm gonna keep it here and bring it up at the end
of June as planned.

    Just an Update:
    
    Greg and I sat down last night and added all the pix to the
    GUITAR notes photo album and came up with some rather humorous 
    captions to go under them.  We plan on shipping this to SC
    after the weekend (plus a day or two).  Pat, if you send me your
    home address I'll send it directly to you.
    
    BTW - The "plus a day or two" is because there are no pix from Herr 
    Heiser and he'll be here this weekend with his "cheese" face on.
    Also other Coloradians may be in attendance of a blues jam being staged
    at my house this weekend.  All are welcome, contact me off-line for

    Quite impressed...although somewhat heavy on the Jeff Cooper photos
    8^), It's really nice, and very comical (like this conference!).
    
    I'll bring it to the next big noters meeting in this area, then send it
    off to wherever.
    
    If you want to insert things, bring them along for the next big GUITAR
    noters meeting in the GMA (Greater Maynard Area)!

I know it's heavy on my pix.  But what can I say ?  I'm a poseur !
Andd... I was hoping that as the album went around to other folks,
they would be slapping in some NEW pix (this means YOU Buck! ;),
and maybe adding a few other "Cut outs" from magazines and such.

BTW - I did try to cover all tastes of amps when I put in my cut outs...
I think I added marshall stuff, rack stuff, boogie stuff, even the P word !

    'poser' guy whgo had like overrideen the entire book with way too many
