    Good day,
    
    	     I just bought a Fusion 040 accelerator card and I am looking
    for some benchmark programs that would give me some comparaisons with
    other machines.
    
    If anyone knows some good ones could you please upload them.
    
    If anyone is interrested, the installation of the Fusion and it's
    software is very easy. You just have to remove the metal covers at the
    back of the A2000 and plug the Fusion in the coprocessor slot.
    You then start a command file and the software get's intalled on your
    SYS: disk.
    
    As soon as I can I will try to post information about the speed.

	I am not the owner, but we ran his '040 against my '030 (A2630 running at 27.5Mhz + 68882 at 32Mhz) under KS/WB 1.3 and an 8.5 minute rendering was done in 6 minutes. Under KS/WB 2.0 the speed increase should be more because the new OS uses copyback cache (I think that's the right term). Jean I seem to remember MIPS giving about 22.5 whereas mine is 8.5

	Sorry, I am on training in Bedford right now. So far I did not find any software that would not work with the fusion, I did had some problem with the disk controller (Hardframe) so I'm replacing that DMA controller with a non-DMA SCSI controller. I bought the IVS Trumpcard Pro and I can hardly wait to try it. I am also planning on installing the version 2.04 a.s.a.p. and should get some speed increase. If there is any software you would like me to try I will be back in two weeks. Hubert.
