For example: - I have changed a routine in file "a.c" and it resides in "lib1.a" - Command X is built using "lib1.a". However in this case command X does not use routine that was changed in "a.c" but is re-built anyway since "lib1.a" has changed. My question is do I need to specify that X be changed in the inventory list? I hope this makes sense. - - - -Rich Larsen - - ------- End of Forwarded Message

I don't have the original text, but here is about what I said. In this example command "X" does not have to be listed on the inventory. A command would only be listed on the inventory if it needed that fix that went into the static library. - Al |
