Here are key dates and times for the 1997 pre-season auction: 
   
o Pre-season rosters due by 5PM on Thursday, Feb. 13th. These should
  include the terms of all Long Term Contracts that you're offering 
  and up to 4 players for which you want to retain topper rights. 
  You also have topper rights for any player coming off of an LTC, 
  in addition to the 4 regular toppers. 

o Doubling offers are due by NOON on Tuesday, Feb. 18th. 

o Rosters with all LTC, topper, and doubling info out on Wednesday, 
  Feb. 19th. 

o Round 1 bid list (includes only doubling) out Friday, Feb. 21st. 

o Doubling round bids will be submitted by 11:30AM on Monday, Feb. 24th. 

o Nominations for round 2 are due by 3:30PM on Monday, Feb. 24th. 

o Tuesday, Feb. 25th will be the first standard auction day with the 
  following times in effect: 

  - Bids are due by 11:30AM Eastern 
  - Results out by 12:30
  - Topper decisions due by 1:30
  - Update out by 2:00
  - Nominations for next round due by 3:30
  - Bid lists for next round out by 4:30 

o Phase II of the auction will follow the completion of Phase I.
