2156.3 | Port Replicator Crashes | NETRIX::"kruszewski@mail.dec.com" | Frank Kruszewski | Tue Feb 11 1997 17:07 | 14 |
Has anyone experience Windows crashing when they have the port replicated attached to a HiNote Ultra II? When I am attached to the port replicator things like Office 97 and some other software crashes. When the replicator is disconnected the same software works fine. Any insights would be most appreciated. Frank [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||

Well I finally got some of the port replicators, and they seem very nice. They came with Win95 drivers and were easy to set up. We had one go off pop after a couple of days, but otherwise an excellent bit of kit. I don't see any NT4 drivers on the floopy that came with it, but I've not looked very hard because I'm still running Win95. Only downside I've thought of so far is if you want to travel, and the docking station is your only ethernet, then you have to take it with you if you need ethernet at the other end of your trip... Now if only I could get more Hinote Ultra II's..... Cheers, Paul |
