Check that the Message Router Password is set correctly (MGT MM

Check for DECnet errors etc :-
$ OPEN/READ/WRITE MRMBX MR$NODE
Check the MRERR.INF and NETSERVER.LOG logfiles in [MB$.MR.SCR] and

| Thanks, guys... will begin investigation.
Also found this in cfcdebug.log on the PC:
AIDA DLL version: V1.0-0 AIDA$BL73
DECnet ERROR: oartl_session_connect 18907234
DASL Error Occurred
ERROR 1152: Cannot connect to server node
And when I ran the AIDA IVP on the server:
Current connection status <not connected>
Connecting to server 0::"255="
<Sn-0> %%AIDACLI-E-CONNFAIL, connection failed. OARTL error: Connection
failed,
VMS user does not exists
0 successful connection(s)
%AIDACLI-E-NOCONNECT, 1 failed connection(s)
%%AIDACLI-I-NOTCNTD, no connection established
%%AIDACLI-I-NOTCNTD, no connection established
%%AIDACLI-I-NOTCNTD, no connection established
%%AIDACLI-I-NOTCNTD, no connection established
I can do a sethost, I can access the IOS stuff on the server through
TeamLinks, just can't respond to a read receipt or set mail
notification on.

3944.5 | Prehistoric software | IOSG::STANDAGE | | Tue Mar 08 1994 20:56 | 14 |
|
This must be an old base level of the TLC.
IVP connections to 0::"255=" were changed to NODE::DECNET:[0=OA$AIDA].
To double check, enter IOS as the manager and see what results from :
<GET SM$_TLC_VERSION

3944.6 | TLC Install fails | KCOHUB::KCPCXX::SCHELL | Insufficient virtual memory... | Wed Mar 09 1994 00:12 | 17 |
| Things continue to worsen...
I pulled the latest versions of the MUPA and TLC, including the
MUPA_BL61A.SAV.
MUPA installed OK, now <get sm$_mupa_version reports
ALL-IN-1 IOS Server for VMS V3.0A (MUPA) BL61A 16-Dec-1993)
The TLC installation fails, however, claiming that the version of
ALL-IN-1 that is installed is ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1, and I need 3.0A.
What gives?
Sorry to be such a bother...

3944.7 | It checks the image id | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Atlanta's Most (In)famous Welshman | Wed Mar 09 1994 00:32 | 8 |
| John,
How about doing the MUP post-install tasks? did you move OA$MAIN
to OA$LIB_SHARE: etc...
Regards,
Andrew.D.Wicks

3944.8 | Yes...get oa$version=V3.0-1 | KCOHUB::KCPCXX::SCHELL | Insufficient virtual memory... | Wed Mar 09 1994 18:07 | 14 |
| "Yes," he said, scratching his head...did the appropriate moves, even
tried relinking.
<get sm$_mupa_version shows
ALL-IN-1 IOS Server for VMS V3.0A (MUPA) BL61A 16-Dec-1993
but... <get oa$version shows
ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1
Any further thoughts?
