Hi! We recently helped Republic Bank put up an MR/X connection to Sprint and they are generally delighted with ONE minor exception. Several people they correspond with use initials in their X.400 addresses and the X.400 addressing form that is used inside ALL-IN-1 doesn't handle initials properly. Does anyone have an updated form that DOES properly handle initials when addressing from ALL-IN-1? Thanks! Sherry PS: Cross-posted in the MAILbus conference...

Sherry, how much are they willing to pay? it's not that difficult using CM! you edit X400FM, add a field calling INITIALS and a /PUT_SAVE, /GET_SAVE to a $X400INITIALS symbol - use cut and paste from any of the other fields. you edit X400CMU and again using cut and paste add a F$EDIT line for $X400INITIALS and add one of those "param = param + ..." lines with a @8= in there somewhere I think those are the only two lines you need. How about 2 pints of ESB? does that sound a fair price? Regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
