3044.2 | We have a possible solution | FLEX7::PATON_S | It's not easy having a good time! | Thu Jul 22 1993 18:44 | 16 |
| I'm working on a project providing services to support Location
Independent Working. These are integrated with ALL-IN-1 and include:
PAM - Phone Access to Mail
A facility to access ALL-IN-1 by phone, have text messages read via
text to speech synthesis and have selected messages faxed to a number
given by the user.
Integrated Voice Mail
The addition of Voice as a media type within ALL-IN-1. Voice
messages are played back to the users local phone (at a Digital
Office, home, customer site etc) or via PAM.
If you want further details please mail me.

3044.4 | Don't recall what that one looked like | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | U.S.A 2 England 0 - I was there! | Fri Jul 23 1993 07:55 | 9 |
| Roger,
i don't remember seeing PHONEMAIL and the only reference in STARS is an
oblique one to note 1033 in the _v24 conference - so it must be well
dead by now - i'll ask my DPC if he remembers it.
Regards,

3044.5 | Internal use here | IOSG::MAURICE | Differently hirsute | Fri Jul 23 1993 12:27 | 9 |
| Hi,
We are using Phonemail internally on our IOSG cluster. We didn't need
to change the source code to get it to run on V3.0. However we did add
it manually into Customisation management.
Cheers
Stuart
